Chapter Fifteen

Jade woke and sat up to find herself in a bed. The night before replayed in her mind, as she looked around the room, finding Lucien still sleeping soundly next to her.

She had lost complete control of herself the night before, rubbing herself on Lucien, like a cat marking its territory. She couldn’t even count how many times they had fucked, let alone how many times she had bitten him, unable to stop herself from taking his blood.

A sex-crazed monster. That was what she had turned into, unable to control her body’s most basic of urges, as she had taken him inside her again and again.

“The sun’s still up,” Lucien said, drawing her attention to him as she sat up next to him. “Come back to bed.”

“I need a shower,” Jade said, sliding out of the bed and heading to what she assumed was the bathroom door.

“Good idea,” Lucien smiled, getting out of bed and following after her.

She couldn’t stop her eyes from traveling his body. Her mouth watered, as she took in his perfectly chiseled chest, his sculpted abs, and his already thickening cock.

“I’ll join you,” Lucien said, pulling her against him, and drawing her attention back to his shining chrome eyes.

“No!” Jade said, backing away from him, fighting the desire already beginning to burn inside her.

Lucien took a step away from her, confusion on his face as she backed away from him and into the bathroom, shutting the door behind her.

Jade collapsed with her back against the door, sliding down it until she sat there naked, curled in a ball with her hands fisted in her hair.

She looked around the room, unsure what she was even looking for, as she thought about the decision she had made.

Going into this, she had known that her life was about to change forever and nothing would be the same for her.

She hadn’t expected for her life to become ruled by sex though, and the fact that she could barely keep her hands to herself now, was something that she wasn’t entirely sure she was okay with.

And Lucien didn’t seem to be worried about it at all. She couldn’t even look at him without wanting to grab a hold of him and ride him like a banshee.

“I signed up to be a vampire,” Jade sighed, talking to herself, as she forced herself off the floor and over to the shower. “Not a fucking succubus.”

She started the shower running and hung a towel on the bar, before stepping under the warm spray, letting it warm her skin.

Her entire life, she had wanted nothing more than to fit in with the other people that surrounded her every day. Now, she was one of them. She finally belonged, and yet, she was terrified of what she might have become.

Even being around other people might be a problem for her now. What if she suddenly became uncontrollably horny? Even worse, what if it happened and Lucien was there? Or it happened on stage.

That thought gave her pause.
